If you prefer to use a text-based logo, follow these steps:
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
In the Custom Logo Text field, enter the text you want to use as your logo
Customize the Text Logo Style
Go to Appearance → Customize → Typography → Logo to change the font, size, and weight
Go to Appearance → Customize → Colors → Header → Custom Logo Text to change the text logo color
2. Adding or Changing an Image Logo
If you want to upload an image logo:
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
Click Select Logo
Upload a new image or select one from your media library
You will be prompted to crop the image—choose Crop Image or Skip Cropping if it already fits your desired dimensions
Your new logo will appear immediately in the preview
Tips for Best Results
Suggested dimensions: 400×100 pixels
Use a PNG image with a transparent background for best visual results
To Update or Remove the Logo
To change the logo, click Change Logo and select a different image
To remove the image logo and revert to text, click Remove
3. Adding or Changing the Site Icon (Favicon)
The Site Icon is the small image that appears next to your website title in the browser tab, bookmarks, and WordPress mobile apps.
To Set or Change the Site Icon:
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
Scroll to the Site Icon section
Click Select Site Icon
Upload a square image or select one from your media library
Choose Crop Image or Skip Cropping depending on your image size
Recommended Size:
Minimum 512×512 pixels
Must be square
To Update or Remove the Site Icon
Click Change Image to use a different icon
Click Remove to delete the current icon
