How to Customize Fonts and Colors

This article refers to Inspiro Lite

Inspiro Lite offers several customization options for your website’s typography and color palette using the WordPress Customizer. You can customize fonts and colors globally for different sections of your site or adjust them individually when using Elementor or the Block Editor.

1. Customizing Fonts

To change global font settings, go to Appearance → Customize → Typography.

From here, you can adjust fonts for specific theme sections, including:

  • Body text
  • Logo
  • Headings
  • Menu
  • Homepage hero area

Available Font Settings:

  • Font Family – Choose from Google Fonts or system fonts
  • Variants – Choose which font files will be loaded from Google Fonts
  • Font Size – Adjust the size of the text
  • Font Weight – Adjust how bold or light the text appears
  • Text Transform – Apply uppercase, lowercase, or capitalize
  • Line Height – Set the height of the space between each line of text

2. Customizing Colors

To adjust your site’s global color scheme, go to Appearance → Customize → Colors.

You’ll find color settings organized by section, such as:

  • General
  • Headings
  • Header
  • Header Menu
  • Hero Section
  • Sidebar and Widgets
  • Footer

Use the color picker or enter a hex code to define your desired palette.

3. Editing Fonts and Colors in Page Builders

If you’re creating content using a page builder:

  • Elementor – Customize fonts and colors directly in the left sidebar of the editor when selecting a widget or section. Each element has its own design tab where you can override the theme’s global settings.
  • Block Editor – After selecting a block, use the right sidebar to change font size, color, background, and spacing. Many blocks offer style presets and advanced typography options.

Note: Customizer settings will apply only to parts of your site built using theme templates. Content built with Elementor or the Block Editor will use styling defined directly in the editor.
